Life f*cking rules.

When you can enjoy more of it, it rules even more. And when you can’t enjoy the things that rule, life starts to suck.

Our purpose is to help people get in the best shape of their lives by getting stronger, becoming more resilient to injury, and having more energy so that they can do all the things that rule in life.

Things like going on last-minute hikes without feeling like they’re going to get left behind.

Things like joining a beer-league volleyball team over the summer and not throwing out their shoulder for the year.

Things like enjoying this .5k Fun Run with their friends and family!

Life is meant to be enjoyed, and we help people enjoy more of it through quality strength and conditioning without workouts that are only made to burn you out or fad diets.

Getting Ready ToRace

TRAINING FOR THE .5K

How to Train for the .5k Race
We understand that many of you are looking at this .5k and thinking...

"How am I ever going to complete this incredibly arduous feat of human endurance!?"

No worries - that's where the pro's at Stoked Athletics come in.

To train for the .5k Very Fun Run Blood Cancer Awareness Pro-Am For People Who Hate Running but Love Beer (For the Fight!), we suggest sharpening up 3 main skills:
Durability, Flexibility, and Drinkability.

To train durability, we suggest going for 3-4 walks or light jogs around your block each week. This extreme training can be scaled, so feel free to start with a half lap to start.

For flexibility, we recommend being flexible with your diet, because on this day, we're crushing beers, hot dogs, and all the other foods our sponsors will be providing. We understand how hard that might be after committing to your brutal training and diet regimen while getting ready for this race, so Stoked coaches will be there to serve as role models, showing you exactly how to enjoy yourself the day of.

Lastly, drinkability. Whether it's staying hydrated with water, or enjoying some cold, delicious beers from our homies at Secatogue, your drinkability game needs to be A1 for the day. We suggest going to Secatogue one to four times a week to prepare for our after party.

Of course, if you need any more help getting ready for the display of peak human performance, you can schedule a Free Week at Stoked by clicking here to be certain that you are ready for race day!
